
This course provides a real-world experience wherein students will apply the field of psychology to better understand various impacts of the Holocaust. Assigned readings will provide perspective on surviving the death camps and extreme violence (Night) as well as perspectives on the German police in terms of conformity, indoctrination and anti- Semitism. On-campus meetings prior to departure will prepare students for travel and discuss the readings. Site visits include historical sites and synagogues.
