A study of works, styles and composers from 20th/21st Century Art Music in the Western world. Students will read primary and secondary source material as well as study representative scores and recordings. Includes a research component. Prerequisite: Passed Piano Proficiency, and MUSI 222 and MUSI 212 with grades of C- or better, or with permission of the instructor. Offered in alternate years. (1.0 course credit).
