An analytical overview of major events, trends, and figures from the worlds of ancient Greece and Rome, and of other Mediterranean nations and peoples with whom they interacted, such as Hittites, Lydians, Persians, Phoenicians, Egyptians, Etruscans, Carthaginians, Galls, and Hispanians. Same general content as CLAS 235, but with higher expectations of performance. This course satisfies the General Education requirements for 'Inquiry in the Humanities' and 'Global Learning.'
