This course provides students a comprehensive review of the many applications of neuroscience to the understanding of behavior. Topics include the biological foundations of behavior, evolution and development of the central nervous system, sensation and perception, motor control, the effects of hormones on behavior, emotions and mental disorders, and cognitive neuroscience. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 or BIOL 150, and PSYC 243. (One course).
